CQN provides an evaluation of health, safety and environmental management systems for all subscribing contractors. The Evaluation is administered by credentialed health and safety professionals and covers off a broad cross section of performance, legislative compliance and industry best practice requirements. It includes a detailed assessment of the subscribers’ questionnaire and supporting documentation.
The evaluation results are posted in the Contractor’s Profile and are viewable by clients upon the contractor releasing their data to that client.
Eligibility for the Evaluation
Contractors must complete the following within their account to have an Evaluation:
Mandatory Questionnaire Components:
General Information – ALL
Organization – Insurance Policy Limits and Industrial Relations
OHS Management – H & S and Environmental performance statistics for the last three years, WCB Data per location for the last three years, Regulatory Compliance, H&S-MS Certifications (COR or SECOR).
Contractor Management Standards (if/as applicable)
Mandatory Documentation:
- General Liability Insurance Certificate (minimum $2 million)
- Automotive Liability Insurance Certificate (minimum $2 million)
- Corporate Health, Safety and Environmental Manual (HSE Manual)
- WCB / WSIB Release letter
- WCB Premium Rate Statement for the current or last year
- Certificate of Incorporation
- Resume of senior HSE Professional
Contractors may upload Optional Documents to their account to enhance the completeness of data necessary for the Evaluation. Make sure to check out the ‘View Evaluation’ page for a detailed look at the various elements and criteria needed.
Once the Evaluation is complete, the score will be available from the Approval Status widget on your Account Status page and from within the Desktop Evaluation heading in the menu area.
Once your account is ready, CQN will complete the evaluation. Evaluation upgrades are available at any time at your request. You may be required to update documents and data on your account.
